Marriage preparation Jongno Hyosung Jewelry City http://hsjewelrycity.com/
Actually, I’m in the midst of preparing for my wedding. Haha. Since last March, we’ve been visiting wedding venues and now it’s already November, time flies so fast! Ppoong. Lazy couple that we are, we only started looking for engagement rings a week before our wedding photoshoot. Haha. So, without much hesitation, we headed to Jongno area because, you know, when it comes to jewelry, Jongno is the place to go. Haha. Wherever we go, we always check for parking availability, and our chosen destination was Hwaseong Jewelry City!
To be honest, I didn’t plan to visit Tera Jewelry specifically, but we stumbled upon it after having a meal nearby. My partner pretended to know about this place from some reviews, so we casually entered the store. The staff welcomed us and asked if we made a reservation. “Wait, do we need a reservation to buy a ring?” I asked, and they chuckled and said, “Yes, indeed.” Hehe.
It’s surprising how things work, isn’t it?
Anyway, each table was occupied by different couples. We felt a bit awkward standing there when the store manager, or so I think he was, came up to us and said we could have a private consultation. We mumbled and hesitated, but he insisted we sit comfortably as it would take about an hour. At that moment, we thought, “What? An hour to look at rings? It won’t take that long!” But he smiled and said, “Just sit down, you’ll see.” So, we did. ^^;
Well, the bottom line is we ended up having a 1-hour 5-minute consultation. Haha. When we regained our senses, we found ourselves finalizing the contract and making the payment. It was funny, haha, but we couldn’t resist because we really liked it.. ^^
This is the ring I chose. It mainly focused on simple and clean designs, but despite that, the store manager showed us many rings and guard rings, which helped a lot with our decision-making process! He noticed that we seemed to like unique designs, so he showed us various options, which made it quite enjoyable. Haha. For couples planning to get married, I recommend going here to have a date and explore your ring preferences. Just like us, if you wait until a week before your wedding photoshoot, you might not be able to wear the ring during the shoot.. T.T
It’s not a simple circular design but rather a curved one, and I loved it. The guard ring, unlike the engagement ring, had a feminine tiara design, which I also liked a lot. It looks so gorgeous on my ring finger!
I preferred a bit of weight to the ring instead of something too light, and that’s why I chose this one! The store manager also mentioned that wedding rings are different from couple rings as they give a different impression when worn. Hehe.
The unique placement of the center diamond caught my eye, it was beautiful. I believe they called it a baguette diamond. Initially, I thought it might be expensive, but it turned out to fit perfectly within our budget, so I’m satisfied. Haha.
It wasn’t easy to make an instant decision as soon as we entered the store, but the store manager was great at providing advice, and we didn’t even realize how time flew by due to the pleasant experience.
For those who plan to visit Hwaseong Jewelry City, I suggest adding Tera Jewelry to your tour list. Even if you haven’t made a reservation, just like us, you can sneak in and inquire about consultations. Hehe.”
