Seoul Yeouido Restaurant jinju house https://naver.me/GIqtz4oH
On a stuffy, hot day, a craving for #congguksu (Kongguksu.
When I visited the Hyundai last spring, my husband and I decided to go see the jinju house on https://www.youtube.com/@GwanjongUn-ni YouTube channel.
Honestly, I don’t really like kongguksu, but I was curious about the real kongguksu when I saw how delicious it was on the YouTube channel.
(They ate delicious waffles, too, but we couldn’t go there (crying)
It was a little difficult to find the place at first because the road to Yeouido was not familiar.
Most of the area is filled with offices, and there are many restaurants underground, so they are closed on weekends.
#Yeoido doenjang soup restaurant Jinju restaurant is one of the hidden restaurants in the basement.
It felt like a small underground shopping mall lined with small shops.
But most weekends were closed, and only the pearl house was brightly lit.
Looking at it from a distance, it seemed like I found the cool cold bean-soup noodles I was looking for!!
Yeouido Cold Bean Noodles – Jinju Restaurant Menu
Here’s the menu!
There are only five items in it.
When I went inside, there were not many people eating cold bean noodles because it was still spring.
I saw a lot of people eating Yukgaejang.
I ordered dumplings, bean-soup noodles, and bibim-guksu.
An old-fashioned water bowl was provided to us.
We waited for about three minutes…
Food came out one by one.
In popular restaurants, they always serve quickly and accurately.
My partner always orders spicy bibim-guksu, and this day was no exception.
It looked very refreshing with plenty of cucumbers and radishes.
Oh, my God, the shiny bean soup… What happened…
Just looking at the picture makes my mouth water,,
It’s a dumpling.
The price is 11,000 won, but I hesitated because it seemed a little expensive and eventually ordered it.
It was a little burdensome for the two to finish.
It would feel empty without dumplings, right?
I said I wouldn’t order dumplings next time after I finished eating, but I’ll order again as soon as I go again, kekekeke.
Like this, you can continue to eat dumplings covered with kimchi..
The kimchi that comes with it is really different,,
It’s no joke. It’s full of flavors.
Bibim-guksu was milder than I thought!
My partner always prefers the spicy version, but the bibim-guksu at Yeouido Kong-guksu restaurant was mild.
I also found out that the spicy taste is a little less than before?
But you may have felt that way because you tasted the strong taste of kimchi together.
I didn’t lick the plate.
It’s a waste of precious bean broth ^^
I ate all the dumplings, too!
If it’s 14,000 won for a bowl of cold bean-soup noodles… Um… Yes…
The cost of living in Seoul is really threatening..
For those who like cold bean-soup noodles, we recommend you to visit during less crowded times to avoid waiting times.
*On weekdays and weekends, there may be long lines going up the stairs.
We visited around 2 to 3 p.m. on the weekend and went in without waiting.
The inside is wide and the food comes out really quickly, so you don’t have to worry too much.
